Clever Kisum and Mr. LuneMoto return as The Counters with Da Vault

Trap Company Recordings announces a new single release dropping from veteran Los Angeles hip-hop and electronic music producer Clever Kisum. Da Vault is the first contribution to the new group project featuring Mr. LuneMoto from Pomona, Ca.

Clever Kisum is well known from the early days of west coast hip-hop from his production work on releases like 12PacofDoja by Lil 1/2 Dead, Servin & Dippin (Remix) by Volume 10, tracks with Jayo Felony, C-Bo, Baby S, Kokane and many others. After a bit of a hiatus from the music business, Clever Kisum returned to the streets with his Atlanta, Ga based releases under his independent Dirty Coast Records imprint which included artists such as Shani T, A1 Yoda, Mobdamatix, Deezy Baby and drops including his own rapper persona with Beatz Battalion.

Clever always remained connected to his west coast roots and collaborations continued with more recent releases like 550 and Skrrt by Tha Chill and Keep A Pistol by Baby S. It may not be a surprise to some that Clever Kisum entered the electronic music space producing sick trap and bass drops like Get The Bag, J Cole – Middle Child (Clever Kisum Remix), and Been A Threat featuring Milano The Don.

In forming his new group The Counters, Clever joins forces with long time collaborator Mr. LuneMoto to drop off a slapper reminiscent of his west coast hip-hop legacy days with Da Vault. Mr. LuneMoto delivers his trade mark game spitting bars and slick SoCal flow with a tribute to the Almighty dollar while Clev follows suit with the confident bragadocius flow we enjoy from our favorite producers when we can catch them spinning the block behind the mic. Clever Kisum says that The Counters group project will have more bangers forthcoming and we can’t wait to test drive the new sounds in the Tesla or the Porsche Taycan when it drops.

You can follow Clever Kisum and Mr. LuneMoto at the links below and be sure to pre-order / listen to The Counters – Da Vault when it drops July 28.
